Katy doesn’t want to alienate her fans by changing too much saying “some people have success and they want to pull a 180 and try a totally different thing…that’s the wrong move.”
Therefore Katy’s confirming her follow up album to smash hit One of the Boys will definitely be pop and describes the sound as “‘Love Fool’ by the Cardigans meets ‘Into the Groove’ by Madonna, but with a little more meat on the bones, lyrically.”
