HAIR WE GO!

It took what felt like days, but by 10.30pm, all 16 potential housemates were in!

Next job – who’s gonna become a proper housemate?  The first challenge was set by Big Brother – one housemate had to head off to the diary room… that housemate?  Brazilian-born Rodrigo, that’s who.

Once in the diary room, Big Brother informed Rodrigo that all those in the house were not yet housemates, and each would have to earn their place inside the BB10 house over the next few days.

To achieve his housemate status, he’d have just three minutes to persuade one of the others to sit in the barbers chair in the main room, while Rodrigo himself would shave off their eyebrows, and draw a pair of comedy glasses and a moustache on their face.

If he was successful, both Rodrigo and the particpating other would earn their place in the house.

So who stepped up?  Noirin.  Handily for her, her current eyebrows were already drawn on, so it didn’t make much of a difference.

Once the challenge was completed, Big Brother rewarded them both with full housemate status, and gave them (and only them) access to the bedroom, along with champagne and nibbles.

The rest of the ‘potentials’ however, would soon realise they’d be sleeping on the floor…
