AEG Live organised the concerts at the O2 Arena, and says it’ll treat fans with the “same reverence” as the star himself did.
Over three quarters of a million people rushed to get tickets. So if you’ve shelled out for what were the hottest seats in town… what should you do?
Ticketmaster
It was the official ticket seller, and promoters are promising a full refund or you can choose to have some of the cash back, and receive your ticket as a souvenir.
Exchange sites
As for ticket exchange sites such as Viagogo, Seatwave, See Tickets and Get Me In are all promising full refunds.
Some will happen automatically – others you have to fill in a form.
eBay
Things get more complicated if you snapped up seats on eBay.
The auction site says it’s committed to getting refunds for buyers – but the details are a bit sketchy.
PayPal
Anyone who paid through PayPal should be guaranteed their money back.
Trains & Hotels
If you have trains and hotel rooms booked you may want to hold onto them for the time being as there are rumours Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake or even a star-studded tribute show may be staged there instead.
