Dance deity Calvin Harris has just been confirmed to play Wireless 2009 sponsored by Barclaycard. He revealed that he’d be our surprise act on his Twitter, and will play the Main Stage this Sunday (July 5th).

Calvin, the legend behind the irresistible ‘Acceptable In The 80’s‘ and last year’s summer anthem ‘Dance Wiv Me‘ completes our line-up for 2009, and will be bringing his chart-topping disco choons to the thousands of dance fans who descend upon Hyde Park this weekend.

With latest single ‘I’m Not Alone‘ already becoming the definitive dance track of 2009, and new album Ready For The Weekend set for release in August, we can’t think of a more welcome addition to the Wireless line-up.

Also performing this weekend is fellow chart sensation Dizzee Rascal, who teamed up with Calvin on’ Dance Wiv Me’. Could there be a special collaboration between the two of them at Wireless? We’ll have to wait and see!
