Katherine Heigl plays Abi a sassy hard working television producer who has very bad luck in the dating game until she meets dating expert and general womaniser, Gerald Butler‘s character. She is forced to produce his new dating show ‘The Ugly Truth’ much to her anger.

The film has some absolutely hilarious scenes that are so true to life. We have all met that person and had our friends basically advise us on everything from what to wear to what to say. The Ugly Truth gives you a harsh insight into what men really think when you first meet them and what to expect but like all good romantic comedies there is a really heartfelt story beneath it. It’s all about being YOU and being yourself.

Katherine Heigl is as stunning as ever and Gerard Butler is just dreamy. You gotta look out for the vibrating under wear scene and the sexy neighbour tree incident. Perfect film for Saturday night with you mates.
