Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 has smashed box office records.
The eighth and final film in the series made 168 million dollars in just three days in America – giving it the highest-grossing opening of all time there – beating the last Batman film ‘The Dark Knight’.
It also achieved the biggest weekend opening in the UK and sold more tickets for midnight screenings than any other film in history. It’s now expected to join the exclusive club of films that have generated over a billion dollars worldwide.
