Yesterday we revealed that Beyonce’s pregnancy bump was the mother of all 2011 Twitter topics -with nearly nine-thousand tweets per second – and it seems only right that we also let you in on Facebook’s most talked about artist’s as well!

The social networking site has revealed the most popular musicians on its platform by scoring them on how many ‘Likes’ they have, with Rihanna topping the chart with over 47.6 million fans.

Shortly behind the Bajan singer is Bob Marley in second place with Avril Lavigne ranking third in the list. David Guetta is sitting pretty at four, while Enrique Iglesias rounds off the top five. Surprisingly, Lady GaGa is only seventh – slightly behind ‘OMG’ singer Usher - despite having over 45.5 million ‘Likes’ to her name.

The ‘Born This Way’ star is just ahead of rock gods Metallica at eight, while Green Day and The Black Eyed Peas make up the ninth and tenth positions respectively.
