Labrinth talks album plans and throws a pre-BRITs party.
Labrinth described his feelings about releasing his debut album as “a mixture of sheer excitement mixed with complete fear” in a column written for the Huffington Post.
The musician’s debut album ‘Electronic Earth’ is due for release in March, and after being responsible for huge hits such as Tinie Tempah’s Pass Out and his own track Earthquake, he is undoubtably feeling the pressure. Keen not to sound negative though, Labrinth explained how privileged he felt:
“I know these opportunities come few and far between. I think I just wanted to highlight that it has been a really important learning curve for me and the whole journey from becoming a producer to an artist has shaped me and changed my outlook on the process of making music.” he said.
It isn’t all work for the star though, as he hosted a pre-BRITS party last night that he described as ‘an exaggerated version of Come Dine With Me’. Fellow UK stars Wretch 32, Emeli Sande, Chipmunk, Rizzle Kicks and loads more attended the party at Labrinth’s London restaurant.
