His next album will be called iLL Manors.
Plan B has announced that his next album will be called iLL Manors and will be released in May.
The follow up to his hugely successful album ‘The Defamation of Strickland Banks’ sounds like it will feature a musical mixture of influences.
Describing it, Plan B said “You could call ‘iLL Manors bass-line, soul, hip-hop. The album has the lyrical depth of my first record but the musical composition is light years ahead as it’s informed by everything I’ve learnt in the last five years – writing, producing and playing with a live band. I feel I’m better than I’ve ever been.”
Plan B AKA Ben Drew has also written and directed a film of the same name which is expected to revolve around the lives of four main characters living in Forest Gate, London.
