50 Cent has been involved in a serious car accident.

According to reports, 50 was hospitalised with injuries to his neck and back after his SUV jeep collided with a truck!

Medical help arrived on the scene and he was put in a neck brace and placed on a stretcher and is now thought  to be in a New York hospital where doctors are running tests on his neck and back.

**new development – His people have released a statement saying “He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine.”

The Hip Hop star’s website has published photos of 50 in the neckbrace.
