Brown asks if there is such thing as “loving two people” in the video.
So the Chris Brown/Rihanna saga continues!
Last night, Chris Brown released a video speaking about the love triangle he’s in with Rihanna and his now ex, Karrueche Tran asking if there is such thing as “loving two people”.
After things reached fever-pitch recently with photos and rumours of Brown and Rihanna reuniting, the Don’t Wake Me Up singer released a statement saying that he was splitting up with Karrueche Tran, as although he loves her, he didn’t want “to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
Just hours later though, Brown released the short documentary-style video below, speaking about the situation and featuring clips of himself with Rihanna in a club and also footage with Karrueche. During the clip, an admittedly drunk Brown says:
“It ain’t about the music, I love my fans it’s just when you share history with somebody then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it’s kind of difficult. Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know….I don’t know if that’s possible. But for me I just feel like that, you know.”
He continues later: “I’m not trying to be a dog. I’m not none of that, that ain’t me. My mama raised me differently, so it’s like I just care too much.”
Yep…definitely like a soap opera and we’re all regular viewers.
Whilst Rihanna tweeted a cryptic music quote: “Ain’t nobody bidness….. But mine and my baby!”, Karrueche’s appeared a lot more sad.
Watch Chris’ video and tell us what you think – should he and Rihanna get back officially?
