Florence Welch was forced to stop mid-song and break up a fight at her Aberdeen gig.
It’s not unusal for gigs to be awash with emotion, but at a recent Florence and the Machine show, some members of the audience became embroiled in a fight.
It was vicious enough for frontwoman Florence Welch to stop mid-song and ask the warring fans to pack it in as it was putting her off.
“Excuse me, all of you – stop it,” she said. “I can’t sing this song while there is a fight going on in front of me.
“It doesn’t matter who is right or wrong, just sort it out and be friends. I feel like a teacher.”
But the drama didn’t end there. A female fan was so upset by the incident that she was sobbing uncontrollably. Caring Flo asked if she was ok, then jumped off stage to give her a hug.
