After an amazing 2012, Emeli Sandé led in the nominations for the 2013 BRIT Awards with four nods in three categories. The Scottish singer, who picked up the critics choice award last year, has been on our screens a lot recently, there were performances at both the opening and closing ceremonies for the Olympics and the on X Factor.

She tweeted her gratitude saying ” to everyone that’s been there since the critics choice and years before that THANK YOU!!!”

Jessie Ware, Delilah, Jessie J and Rita Ora were also among the nominees announced at the Award launch at London’s Savoy hotel and KISS was there to catch up with some of the artists, including this year’s Critics Choice Tom Odell.
