Beyonce has suprised fans with an attitude-filled new track called Bow Down/I Been On.

The Houston, Texas native gave a nod to her roots with the new track, which features her chopped-and-screwed rapping over the instrumental featured in her O2 Priority tour ad.

Sasha Fierce is in full effect, shutting down the haters and letting everyone know that she’s not the shy and retiring type. As well as being a bit sweary, Bey drops lines like:

“I took some time to live my life, but don’t think I’m just his little wife,”

Debuted on Beyonce’s Tumblr, Bow Down/I Been On was reportedly produced by Hit Boy and Timbaland. We’re not sure whether it will be the first single from her forthcoming fifth album, but it’s not quite the sound we’d expect for Queen Bey’s return.
