“This whole thing about this only being the first part is true…” said Justin.
Justin Timberlake has confirmed rumours that he will be releasing a second part to his 20/20 Experience album.
There had been a buzz about the potential second volume to JT’s new album after Questlove from The Roots revealed the information of a website forum writing: “Spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in Nov. (10 songs now…10 songs later = 20 vision)”
“I admire the balls it took to make this record” he continued, later saying “He (Justin) played me songs out of order and off both records so I don’t know what made the final cut.”
After the info was picked up by fans, blogs etc, an irritated Questlove hopped back on the forum to complain, saying:
“back before social media i was all sharing treats and happy in our insular world.
now mofos all using my position to get their blogs posting on.im going back to the shadows.”
So, as the news was out there, it seems JT decided to clarify the situation during his album release party in Los Angeles last night.
“I’ve got to clear up the rumours,” Timberlake is quoted as saying. “This whole thing about this only being the first part is true…There is another half. I’m not giving you a release date.”
Justin Timberlake will be performing on two dates at KISS Presents Yahoo! Wireless Festival. We’re looking forward to hearing more material alongside Jay-Z too!
