The pair have released the video for The Monster – and it’s a pretty nostalgia heavy 5 minutes.
Eminem and Rihanna have cemented their fourth collaboration with a video that will serve as a real sprint down memory lane for the Detroit rapper’s fans.
The Monster sees psychiatrist RiRi listen to Eminem’s problems – thankfully they are condensed in to a montage of him looking at his past life through snapshots of his old videos, or we’d be here all day.
Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, told MTV that Rihanna was the only gal for him when it came to laying down the track.
“The perception of the record, what it’s saying, I thought it would be a good idea to have her on it because I think people look at us like we’re both a little nuts. That’s one of the things that I was telling her in making the record: I think that people look at us a little crazy,”
“As soon as I got the beat I just heard her on it,” he added. “I wanted to make sure that I had it finished first to be able to present to her, but once I had the rhymes done, I sent it to her.”
