The event celebrates the remarkable achievements by young people across the UK.
Pixie Lott was among the performers at the vInspired National Awards, held in London.
The annual awards ceremony by youth charity vInspired was held to celebrate remarkable achievements by young people across the UK.
Held at the Indig02, the red carpet affair was attended by a host of famous faces including TOWIE’s Ferne McCann and singer Pixie Lott, who performed and presented the award for All Round Commitment to Volunteering to inspirational 19 year old Stephen Sutton.
Neon Jungle also performed at the ceremony and expressed their excitement at being able to take part in an evening of celebrations for the achievements of some of the UK’s brightest and most dedicated young people.
Terry Ryall, CEO for vInspired, said of the star studded evening, “It’s a great honour to hold an event that provides a much needed antidote to the prevailing negative attitude towards young people: that they are lazy, selfish and lack all personal responsibility. As we have seen at the awards, and as we see every day at vInspired, the absolute reverse is true. The determination and selflessness our young people demonstrate in their volunteering is truly inspirational. They have shown amazing passion and commitment for improving the lives of others despite the many challenges they themselves have faced. They are changing the world for the better and I’m confident they will continue to do so long into the future.”
