MYNC (Mark Brown and Richard Searle) are storming the dance charts and clubs with their massive track ‘Searching’ featuring Neil Ormandy, destined to be a summer anthem and released on CR2 records.

Head honcho of Cr2 and MYNC front man Mark Brown, has been touring the globe. Last week he touched down in Miami for the Winter Music Conference and CR2 came live and direct from the Clevelander Hotel. This was a pool party that definitely made a big splash on the WMC events, as the beautiful people of south beach descended into CR2’s party which featured artists from the label. The CR2 Miami compilation is out now and to celebrate we’ve got MYNC in the mix.

With a career that started back in the mid nineties, MYNC have been at the forefront of leading electronic dance music with DJ Sets around the world at clubs such as Ministry of Sound (London), Home (Sydney), Pacha (New York), Space (Miami), Sanctuary (Dubai) and Ibiza’s greatest super-clubs such as Space and Pacha.

Majestic (real name Kevin Christie) started out as an MC performing on the North London nightclub circuit at just fifteen years of age. He rapidly broke through onto the Garage pirate radio stations and forums gaining instant recognition, and was subsequently snapped up by international promoters to perform tours of Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany and Russia. Majestic has since crossed into a multitude of dance music genres from UK Garage to House to Drum & Bass and Dubstep performing with leading artists across the scene such as EZ, Dream Teem, Agent X, MJ Cole, Judge Jules, Micky Slim, Jack Beats , Laidback Luke, The Wideboys, Netsky, High Contrast, Loadstar, Shy FX Skream, Bar9, Nero and Jacob Plant to name a few.

As well as a legendary MC known for being risqué in spreading his word, Majestic is also making waves as an artist in his own right. His single “In The VIP” written and produced with the Wideboys that took a satirical look at the VIP Club culture, was released on Skint Records.

Majestic’s lyrical flow then caught the eye of American Dubstep superstar Skrillex who sampled Majestics legendary, almost anthemic, “Ruffneck Bass” spit for his latest massive single of the same title, played by the world’s biggest DJs.

So with the Majestic message travelling fast, hyping the crowd into a frenzy Majestic takes on the role of grand puppeteer, from waiving lighters in the air to chanting back at the DJ his commands are dutifully followed and quite a sight to behold. But it’s not just his vocal skills that have caught the attention of clubbers far and wide, but his ability to put together a flawless mix which can be heard in his Kiss Presents show; Majestic in the mix.
