DJ SilentSam is a 17 year old UK Funky/Bass DJ who’s been mixing for the past two years.

Sam started out djing at his local creative media project located at Bellenden Old School in Peckham. The studio currently possesses a recording studio setup and a separate sound proof room for the DJs to play in and practice their technique. He would watch the elder DJs mix and it wasn’t long till Sam had developed the skills to becoming a dj.

At the moment, Sam balances his passion for music alongside his college work and recently finished his A Level exams.

He’s already played at Reprezent Live at Ministry Of Sound, London. In regards to his name, he says, ‘The name SilentSam was something I didn’t make up myself. In secondary school, I was the quietest pupil in his entire year and people made the name for me.’

In his spare time, Sam likes making mixes and being creative. Keep an eye out for DJ Silent Sam, as he’s certainly one to watch. In his own words, ‘Because I love what I do, I plan to continue DJing until I’m old and wrinkly and my fingers give in!’
